One of the perks in doing food photography is that no two assignments are ever the same. Food, however mundane, is always an opportunity for creative expression, for the stylist, and a sensory beguilement, to its audience. It not only has to look good, the food has to “call” you and say “Eat me, I am good!”

I love Biko, and the use of the purple-colored Mountain Rice, was truly an enjoyable exercise! Trust me, this tasted so good, I almost ate the entire batch, and not enough for the shoot!
